AFRICANA TOURS
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with this website and enquiries, quote requests and booking requests sent to Africana Tours.
1. Data controller
The data controller is AFRICANA TOURS, LDA., tax identification number 5417068616, with its registered office at Avenida de Portugal, no. 19, Ingombota neighbourhood, Ingombota municipality, Luanda, Angola.
For questions about your personal data, contact info@africanatours.co.ao or +244 936 456 166.
Our customer service shop is at Avenida de Portugal, no. 29, Skyna Hotel Luanda shop, Angola. This address is separate from our registered office.
2. Data you may provide
Depending on your enquiry, we may receive your name, email address or phone number, requested service, preferred vehicle and driver option, dates, times, collection address and destination, number of passengers, route, airport, flight number and time, luggage requirements and information included in your message.
Required fields are identified in the form. Without the details needed for your journey or to contact you, we may be unable to prepare a quote or arrange the service. Avoid including identity documents, payment details or sensitive information in free-text fields.
3. How the form works
The form prepares a message in your email application or WhatsApp. Your enquiry is only sent when you confirm sending it in that application. The website does not automatically confirm bookings or take payments. Details entered are not stored in a booking database on this website.
When you send the message, the email address or phone number used and the message details become available to Africana Tours and the providers involved in your chosen channel.
4. Purposes and legal basis
Data is used to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, check availability, arrange the requested service and manage the customer relationship. As applicable, processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required under applicable Angolan law, including Law no. 22/11 of 17 June.
Sending a quote request does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive advertising.
5. Recipients and external services
Data needed to handle your enquiry may be processed by the relevant team and communications and technology support providers. Where providing your requested service requires partners, only the information necessary for that purpose should be shared, with an appropriate legal basis. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where legally required.
This website includes Google Maps and links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. These services have their own policies. Loading the map connects to Google, which may receive technical data, such as your IP address and browser information, and use cookies according to your settings.
Using external services may involve processing data outside Angola. Transfers made by Africana Tours are subject to applicable legal requirements. You can request clarification about recipients and transfers associated with your enquiry by emailing us.
Read the Google's policy and WhatsApp's policy.
6. Data retention
Data should be retained only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. For information and quote requests, this means the time needed to respond and follow up; for contracted services, legal retention obligations and the need to exercise or defend rights are also taken into account. You may ask about the period applicable to your case. Once that period ends, data should be deleted or anonymised.
7. Cookies and technical data
This website's code does not install its own advertising or audience analytics tools. The hosting service may process technical data needed to provide and secure the website. Third-party services, including the embedded map, may use cookies and similar technologies.
You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings. Some external features may then stop working correctly.
8. Your rights
Under applicable law, you may request information and access to your data, correction or updating, as well as deletion, blocking or objection to processing in the circumstances provided by law. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for future processing.
Send your request to info@africanatours.co.ao, stating the right you wish to exercise. Additional information may be needed to verify your identity. Deletion may be limited by legal retention obligations.
You may also contact the Angolan Data Protection Agency (APD) to lodge a complaint.
9. Care when communicating
Avoid sending data that is not needed for your enquiry. Internet communications and external platforms cannot guarantee absolute security. If you notice misuse of data relating to Africana Tours, please contact us using the details above.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, services or applicable requirements. The current version and its last updated date will be available on this page.
